Lemons are naturally acidic, making them great for cutting through grease and grime. Baking soda, on the other hand, is a mild abrasive that can scour away dirt and stains. Together, they form one safe and effective household cleaner.

Consider the following use cases:

- Polish stainless steel: Make a paste with equal parts lemon juice and baking soda. Rub it onto the surface with a soft cloth, then buff to a shine.

- Clean the microwave: Mix 1/2 cup lemon juice with 1/2 cup baking soda in a bowl. Use a sponge to wipe down the inside of the microwave, then rinse with water.

- Unclog drains: Pour 1/2 cup baking soda down the drain, then slowly add 1/2 cup lemon juice. Let it sit for a few minutes, then flush it with hot water.

- Shine tile floors: Make a paste with equal parts juice and soda. Spread it over tiles with a mop or sponge, then rinse clean.
